Custom archival pigment prints are museum-quality inkjet prints. They include a personal consultation with one of our experienced printers to collaborate on image goals such as color, detail, and size. We have available various surfaces, including heavyweight rag papers, smooth or textured, and coated surfaces in glossy, luster, or metallic. If you are printing from film, we recommend a drum scan to produce the best possible results for your final print.
Our direct-to-print (DTP) service offers reduced prices to run your prints with no color correction or intervention on our part. All we do is send your final files through the printer, keeping you fully in control of the imaging. All we ask is that final files adhere to the following specifications:
1. Sized exactly to the final print size, including borders if desired.
2. All layers flattened.
3. 8-bit RGB mode.
4. Saved as a tiff or jpeg with an embedded profile, “Adobe RGB 1998” suggested.
